Signature Facial - includes cleanse, exfoliate, mask and use of gua sha and gyro spheres.
Developed by Emil fodder in the 1930’s, MLD is a specialised massage technique that uses gentle skin stretching movements to aid the movement of lymphatic fluid and toxins from the cells and tissues.
The lymphatic system is the body’s waste disposal system and plays a vital role in regulating the immune system, protecting against disease and infection, balancing fluid and managing inflammation in the body. When lymphatic flow is restricted or overloaded, fluid retention increases which in turn affects the body’s ability to recover. This can lead to swelling, bloating, tiredness, a feeling of heaviness and even skin issues.
MLD can help with a variety of health conditions:–
- Deeply relaxing – improving mood, help combat anxiety
- Promotes healing after surgery and cosmetic procedures. Reduces swelling and bruising, improving appearance and speeds up recovery. Promotes healing of wounds and bruising and helps to improve the appearance of scars.
- Strengthens the immune system as part of a detox diet – increasing energy, boosts body’s filtration system, minimises and reduces stretch marks and cellulite.
- Relieves fluid congestion – swollen legs and ankles (pregnancy or post flight), tired puffy eyes.
- Helps condition of the skin after weight loss by lifting and firming the skin’s tissues.
- Delays muscle soreness by removing old stagnant fluid. Reduces pain by removing waste products and promotes healing of injuries.
